ABSTRACT

Objective To study curative efficacy of aluminum phosphate gel combined with omeprazole in treatment of peptic ulcer and its effects on Gas, TGF-αlevels.Methods 80 patients of peptic ulcer who received therapy from April 2015 to April 2016 in our hospital were selected as research objects.According to random number table, those patients were divided into the observation group and the control group, 49 patients in each group.the control group was treated with omeprazole, while the observation group was treated with aluminum phosphate gel combined on the basis of control group. Then Transforming growth factor, adverse reaction and curative effect were compared. Results After treatment, the serum levels of Gas and TGF-αin both groups were improved (P<0.05); Two weeks after treatment, the level of GAS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05), TGF-αlevel was higher than that in control group(P<0.05); The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05); The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Combined use of aluminum phosphate gel and omeprazole in the treatment of peptic ulcer can effectively improve the patient-related serum markers, improve the quality of ulcer healing, significant efficacy, high safety and low incidence of adverse reactions.

ABSTRACT

Objective To examine the surgical treatments for obstructive jaundice caused by bile duct strictures after hepat-ic transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods Clinical data were retrospectively analyzed of 9 patients who de-veloped bile duct strictures among 229 patients after TACE between June 1994 and March 2011 in People’s Hospital of Zhe-jiang Provincial and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University. There were 6 cases of primary liver cancer, and 3 ca-ses of metastatic liver cancer.Obstructive jaundice occurred 5 to 16 months after TACE treatment. The median time was 8 months. Results All the nine patients with bile duct strictures suffered different degrees of obstructive j aundice, which was cured after surgical operations or PTC + stenting in 7 patients and significantly relieved by percutaneous transhepatic cholangic drainage(PTCD)in 2 ones. Two patients with obstructive j aundice after TACE for primary liver cancer were followed up for 3 years, and no recurrence of hepatic carcinoma and bile duct obstruction was found. The other 7 patients were followed up for 3 to 13 months, and they all died of deterioration of primary disease. Conclusion Patients with obstructive jaundice caused by bile duct strictures after TACE benefit from surgical operations or intervention treatment.Different surgical strategies are selected based on the characteristics of primary disease, the site and extent of bile duct stricture.

ABSTRACT

Compared to the mature monitoring and reporting system of ADRs in developed countries such as the USA and EU,medical institutions in China have played too much a role.Instead, local primary monitoring and reporting system of ADRs should expand their scope of monitoring and reporting,as drug makers, chain drugstores and retailers should develop an effective ADR monitor/report system as well.At present, such a primary system is plagued by insufficient budget and staff, imbalanced urban/rural layout and defective statements.Recommended measures include enhanced surveillance for drug makers, chain drugstores and retailers, for higher reporting ratio of ADRs at primary level; greater publicity and better monitoring and penalty mechanism; better platform for various organizations.
